Picture transfer from Picasa via flash drive

Have copied pictures from Picasa folder to flash drive on my Windows 10 computer.
When flash drive is inserted in other computers, flash drive appear empty! Yet the pictures can be viewed from flash drive on my computer. Why?

perhaps all you transferred was a pointer to the files not the full data file.
