Laptop will not upload or download from external memory.

Hello,
My laptop has stopped up or downloading from external memory. I have an external hard drive, memory stick (flash drive) and micro sd, the PC will read all of them but i cannot transfer data? please help! P.S.the OS is windows 7

Transfer onto or out of? Are the administrator on all devices?

It will not do either, transfer in or out. It will play from all devices but will not transfer. No it isn't in administrator as the problem is in normal usage.

it doesn't work in administrator or user, it just doesn't work.
