Windows xp wont install

hey everybody,i really need some help!!
i want to install windows xp in my pc,but there's a problem,first thing you have to do is, you have to chosse what disk you want to install xp,and then he copies some files and restarts.....and when he restarts your pc should continue the installation, but my pc doesn't go to the second installation,it restarts and repeats the first installation.

any help? PLEASEE!!!!

There is nothing we can do. What device is the bios set to boot from? It may be going back to the disk drive the XP disk is in.

the bios is set to boot from the HDD,i remember in my other pc it always appear something sayin to click on a random key to boot from CD/DVD but in my pc it boots automatic,thats why it is restarting the same installation,and i cant solve it :(

what exact computer has this problem?

Win XP does not have drivers for most of the hardware on today's laptops. It's better to install Windows XP in a Windows 7 Virtual Box. To do that you will need the Ultimate version of Win 7.

i dont have a laptop,and i want to put windows 7 but my HDD isnt to big...it was only 40GB xD my 1TB disk broked yesterday,and i want to put XP because it doesn't require a lot of space...

yea i know...then the updates its more 4 or 5 GB and i cant even play a good game in there xD

There is a three legged stool here, please pardon the interruption.

You can have cheap and fast, but not BIG. Or you can have Big and Fast, not cheap! Or, you can have Big and Cheap, not fast! In your case, you have cheap, and fast, not big!

You cannot have it all, The stool legs have to be level!

You mos' def' won't get XP updates! I would go the 7 route! At least it won't be a bot!
