Hey guys I'm using a oldish Compaq computer just recently upgrade to windows 10 but after my first boot up after the install my moniter doesn't pick up my laptop, the thing is I'm using the moniter due my laptop screen being smashed and can't see anything on it I need help if there is any helping this, cheers

The Windows 10 installation programs probably default to using the internal monitor screen. I am not aware of any workaround to this problem other than replacing the internal screen.
