sorry bro this is not a solution many times I install this error showed me again again either I purchase a new copy.
I have the same problem.
I tried to install the cd into another computer and it works.
But everytime I install AutoCad LT 2006 in my computer, I always got the error.
Please help.

Just download and install dotnetfx.exe and your Langpack.exe before you install AutoCAD. Then it works.
You just download .NET Framework 3.0 , .NET Framework 2.0 and Microsoft WSE 3.0 Runtime then install it..after that you can install autocad.... Done!!!!

hi,
if you are installing it from a CD, make sure that it is free from dirt and scratches.
or make sure that no files are missing.

I think I found the solution.................make the current user account as standard user..............then create a new user with administrative privilege..............then login to the new administrative account...........try installing again.............I think it is going to work.
After installation you may find incompatibility issue which may prevent you from starting the application...............right click on autocad icon>go to properties> compatibility >check-run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp(service pack 3) and Run this program as an administrator>go to change setting for all users and check the same options>apply and OK.................then run the program........a popup screen will appear ...............check -Don't show this message again and Run program.
