Hi
It certainly is not normal.
Looks like we have a problem which is not due to a virus but due to your operating system.
Can you describe the beep pattern; number of beeps, long, short, pauses, number of each and their sequence, ei 2 short one long, pause, 2 short...etc.
What is the make and model of your machine ?

Hello,
The beep was continous and I tried but it still did not work. The pattern was the sound to be loud and beep like a medical machine. It did not take long pause at all. Quite frequent.
I am not a machine person so I dont know the model and make... Its an acer laptop 3-4 years old.

It seems that you may have a memory failure.
This will take some doing on your part as you will need to open your laptop.
You must ensure that you are in a static free environment.
You will need to remove your ram sticks one at the time and test each one separately. Also while you have the stick out, clean it with a soft lint free cloth. One of the sticks may be damaged.
If the above does not help to locate the problem, you may have a more serious issue which only a qualified technician can attend to.
As I said, it's not a virus and formatting will not help.
Good luck

The last option or folder appearing on the screen. I am not able to use even key board in this situation. I cannot open any folder or select any other option apart from the last of the screen.
For eg- If I am on a google search page. I will be taken to the end of the page and only last link option will be available for me to select.
