Hello,
My laptop goes on and then suddenly the screen starts fading out. It looks like little dots start forming on the screen and then it goes dead but the laptop stays on.

It appears you have a hardware problem either with the screen or the video chip. Perhaps a local PC repair shop can diagnose the problem.
