Backspace stuffing up!!!

Hello,
When ever I press the backspace on the internet it opens something up that looks like your supposed to put codes in and I've got no idea why!
Can anyone help?

It will if you save it on your computer, press the reply button at the top of this page then press on the png (mountain like icon)
