Computer won't connect to wireless internet

Hello, my computer has been able to connect to internet wirelessly before, but now it requires and Ethernet Cable for some reason.

For some reason it can connect wirelessly to the internet for the first few minutes after restarting the computer, but after that doesn't work anymore.

I've tried several things and all other devices work on this modem. My computer is an Acer laptop running Windows 7. Any insight on what is happening and how to fix it is appreciated.

perhaps you can buy a cheap USB WIFI adapter on Amazon and bypass the problem.
