Hi Athomas,
You have done good job, trying to solve the issue. It seems that the PC is not getting enough energy to boot and the problem may be motherboard or power port related. I strongly recommend you to contact a technician, because there is not much to do in home conditions. The good news is that these type of problems are sometimes easily repaired and you have your PC fixed in no time.
