Cannot format sd card

Hi is the any other way of formatting my SD card because I used the method on my android but still get the message I should format SD card

Your card is probably defective and needs to be replaced. If once formatted there is no way they become unformatted unless they have be damaged. The phone can't read the card and then just guesses that it needs to be formatted.
