If your yahoo mail account will not open, then there could be a number of reasons:
It could be that you have forgotten your Username/ email address or the password.
You should just click on "Trouble Signing in?". You will be taken to a page where you will begin the recovering process. Take note that you will be asked for any of these recovery details:
Sign- in email address or mobile number, Recovery Phone number or recovery email address. At least I know you can remember any of those details.
So once you enter your desired option, a key code will be sent to you via email or text message and that resets your email address completely.
If your account has been hacked, you can still gain access to it through this afore mentioned method. But once you have retrived your account, be sure to carefully look through your account settings to make sure that your email is safe to use.
If you do not trust the email account anymore, you can simply sign up for a new yahoomail account
