Toshiba Recovery

Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite c675. I upgraded to Windows 10 when Microsoft was offering the free upgrade, and have been having issues with the black screen since. In previous months I was able to get past the black screen by taking the battery out or using the Windows key, with the November 2016 updates I cannot get past the black screen. I decided to restore to factory setting but have run into an issue with the files being corrupt. I can order a recovery disk from Toshiba for $30 can anyone advise on whether they think I will be able to recover with the disk since I already started the process?
