Hello,
My computer is stating an operating system wasnt found. But the thing is my computer wont hold any charge without the adapter please help!!

It sounds like the harddrive is damaged. You have a bigger issue then a fried battery. Batteries DO NOT last forever. You should expect to loose the life of the battery within 4 years. If it lasts longer, than you are lucky!
