Laptop can't switch on Closed

Question

Hello, 
My hp note book charging light is on while I've not plugged in charger.  Worse of all, it doesn't switch on when I press on button. Please help. I'm in Africa and u know how difficult it's down here. Thanks for u r help. Anyone. 
Configuration: iPhone / Chrome 55.0.2883.91

Unplug it from the wall, turn it off, and take the battery out.   Hold down the power button for 60 seconds, yes count it out.  Put the battery back in and try again!
You should NOT have to take any screws out to get the battery out.  If you cannot remove the battery, then you must take it to a technician.
