if you can manage to remove the ram, and switch it on, when it switches it will show you some text on the screen, then shut it down and put back and switch it on
@IDonald-Removing the RAM is the worst first step troubleshooting ever! If you feel you must give advice such as this, please at least go into ESD precautions with the OP!
@Darking-good logic! If the battery does not come out, there are no user serviceable parts, and you will need a technician to recover!
