Trans misic to blackberry

Hello,
I am trying to trans music file to my blackberry but it said file to big that doesn't make sense I't only one cd with about six songs it has to have that much room wouldn't it? is therea way to condense the cd file to fit?

rip the file from windows media player

then transfer it to mobile phone

or use converter from link below:

http://ccm.net/download/download-4300-any-audio-video-converter
