Hi Bethdabomb,
Are you sure your laptop is powering normally? If so, connect the PC to a monitor or to a TV to check if you are facing a monitor issue. If you still cannot get a signal, the problem may be hardware related. It is possible that your laptop is not powering because of lack of power. Please test it with another power cable. If the PC is under warranty, contact the seller and ask for guidance. The computer needs to be opened and the hardware thoroughly examined.
