Acer computer will not turn on

Hello,
All of sudden when I got back from my trip my computer will not turn on. I plugged my laptop in and no lights. I've taken the battery out and tried to charge it that way with out success. I ordered a new power supply and plugged it in. Still no lights to indicate it is charging. What do I do now??please help.

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
