Monitor not recoginzing the computer

Hello,

I tried removing the battery and waiting 30 minutes but it still did not work. I have verified though that it is not the monitor as it plugs in and works fine with my laptop. Any other troubleshooting idea's? I would be very grateful.

You removed a battery from a desktop? So, if you take out the RAM and try to boot, does the PC beep? If it does, then your MB is good. If it does not, then the motherboard is bad, and it isn't posting, which is why you aren't seeing any display.
