DVD/cd missing

Hello,

I have followed the process of regedit up to the end and I have deleted the upper left, for the first time my dvd/cd showed up on my computer and I was happy but later on it disappeared again, and I tried to follow the process but there is no upper left or lower left to be deleted I am stuck here and don't know what to do, my computer it asus.
