Toshiba laptop not booting black screen and screen of death.

Hello, i am trying to fix a toshiba satellite laptop.I have deasembelled and reasembelled it. Blew it out. Removed the battery and any other cable from it. I still have the same problem of the Toshiba logo appearing. After which a message pops up reading " The hard drive recovery process has been selected. Please, choose [Yes] if you are sure that you want to continue." When i select yes, nothing happens. Sometimes the blue screen of death appears. Please, help. Thanks.
