Hello everyone!
I am thinking of upgrading my motherboard to Asus P5KPL - AM/PS. That is the one suggested by the shop keeper himself. Please suggest if am going for the right one. He is asking for 2900 INR for this motherboard and also telling me one benefit of the same M/B having Burning components warranty i.e ANTI SURGE.
Also suggest if you'd want me to go for any other M/B except this for economic price and long term and which would also support High Quality GFX card etc. in future, which works on Petium D processor (Dual core 2.8 Ghz).
And also if you could suggest any M/B with 8gb RAM Expansion Slotz.
Thanx in advance :)

My present PC config:

Go with the Asus, get a new Geforce 9 series video card, I am looking at your power supply specs, your amps are likely a little low for the new Asus mobo so get a more powerful one. My current psu is something like: +12v 40A +5v 32A +3.3v 32A @ 550 watts. Asus also provides superior overclocking options from my understanding.
