Lenovo laptop won't turn on

my Lenovo laptop won't turn on after trying to on it. when I insert my battery and plug my charger the charging notification light turns on but the laptop does not when pressed the power button. Any help please??? Would be much grateful. thanks

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
