Hello,
My Sony VAIO laptop has been playing up ever since i re-installed my webcam. It was installed then when i restarted the system after the installation... it said it had found new hardware. I had plugged out the USB camera before the restart and it still says the webcam is in. Then it stays put for 30 seconds then it goes up with a big blue screen with white writing on it really quickly. It will continue doing that until the batteries go flat (Unless its on charge)
I cannot afford to repair it again so is there a way without going to a computer repair shop?

Short and sweet way -- you will lose all information though -- use the restore disk(or partition) that came with the laptop to make it factory defaults, this will clear errors and allow you to try installing your cam fresh.
