Pokémon Home: Switch and mobile

What is Pokémon Home?
It's like a virtual home for your Pokémon. Divided among 200 boxes, you can store up to 6,000 Pokémon (with a premium subscription). It's compatible with the Pokémon Bank for the Nintendo 3DS. And the Nintendo Switch version is also compatible with Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu!, Eevee!, Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, and Pokémon Go.
It's important to note that although Pokémon Home is available for the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, the two versions are different. We'll fill you in below, but in general the mobile versions have more features while the Switch version is compatible with more editions. However, it's good to know that by linking your accounts for each (Switch and mobile versions), you can access all of your Pokémon in one space.
How to use Pokémon Home on the Nintendo Switch?
The Switch version is the same as the old Pokémon Bank. Once the app is installed, it will automatically detect the Pokémon you have won. After you can search for and move each Pokémon from one box to another. On the home screen, you'll find your Pokédex, with all your Pokémon's stats. In addition, you can also move your Pokémon from the Pokémon Bank and view your Pokémon Home Points.
There's a search feature for your Pokédex, or you can use the filters available (name, gender, region, skills, and more) to find the Pokémon you're searching for.
How to use Pokémon Home on mobile?
As previously mentioned, the mobile version functions a bit differently. On the iOS and Android versions, Pokémon Home allows you to access and manage your Pokédex, connect with friends who also have an account, and exchange with players from around the world.
The Wonder Box feature (similar to Surprise Trades and Wonder Trades) allows you to trade randomly with others. Premium subscribers can place 10 Pokémon at a time, and basic accounts are granted 3. Of course, you can also trade directly with your friends. There is also the Group Exchange section, GTS, which allows you to search for a specific Pokémon to complete your Pokédex!
How to use Pokémon Home with Pokémon Go?
To associate your accounts, you have to open Pokémon GO, select the Poké ball, go to Settings and select Pokémon Home. You can now log in with your Nintendo Switch account.
This will allow you to send Pokémon from Pokémon Go to Pokémon Home. However, the other way around - sending Pokémon from Pokémon Home to Pokémon Go - is not possible.
What is the Pokémon Home price?
Pokémon Home is a freemium service. So while the basic version is free, paying for a subscription will unlock additional functions. Additionally, with the free version you are limited to 30 Pokémon, but with a premium subscription, you can store up to 6,000.
There are three payment plans: monthly for $2.99; quarterly for $4.99, and annual for $15.99.
