Hello, from the post in this forum, you can add the toolbar using these steps.

1) Downloaded x64 Version
2) Elevated Command Prompt
  • net stop WMPNetworkSvc
  • regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll"
  • net start WMPNetworkSvc

I opened WMP and minimized it but the toolbar wasn't there. I then placed the wmpband.dll in the (x86) WMP Folder and it was there. So it needs to go in both folders at least on W10.

Thank you,

From another post I saw all I had to do was press the ALT key and that brought up the menu.

Sorry, your reply was much too technical for me to understand. I am a total beginner to WMP other than playing an occasional DVD or CD.

I am trying to figure out how to move all my music from Itunes to something else - I am looking at musicbee.
