Keyboard/mouse not working

Hello,
Hi, I am using HP Pavilion dv1580se.
Suddenly today morning the keyboard and the mouse didn't worked. I tried ur post of battery removal and all, but still it didn't worked.
Then I tried using external mouse which worked for sometime but again after few mins its gone.
As I have a password set for my login. I cannot go beyond the login screen(as keyboard is not responding)
Please help.

hi,

contact your local HP dealer to get the laptop repaired.

this may be due to a virus as well as an internal problem.

they will repair it for you.
