Greetings! XP operating system on an HP Vectra VL I Series 8 K/450 Pentium 3! When I logon the destop flashes and then goes directly to logoff! Can't access anything. Even in safe mode, same thing and when I click on a user (admin or otherwise) it says it is loading preferences and then does the flash and indicates logging off!
I fear they may have been a power spike! I found it in startup mode but the floppy I had in it was not a startup disk! So sometime there was a power outage and it just booted back up, but couldn't because of the disk!
