No Sound

Hello,
I am using Windows XP
I installed Windows Home Edition on my HP Pailion dv1000 everything works perfictly exept for the sound , there is no sound at all externally and internally . I tried everything nothing works . Please HELP

Check and install the driver of ur sound card.Maybe u r using built-in sound card or external sound card but some times the sound card version is new and the window is old.simply check ur sound card model download its driver install it and have fun...
