Windows xp asus laptop, reboots nonstop

Hello, I have a asus laptop w/windows xp and after i windows start and sets up my desktop setting it turns blue but not able to see the error message and then turns to black screen and then starts rebooting and keeps doing the same thing sets up my settings, blue screen for 1/2 second and the black scree and then starts rebooting. Is there anyway I can do a system recover?

Step
1
Download Windows XP recovery Disc.iso , then burn to disc

Step
2
Insert the disc you burn just now.
Restart your computer after doing step 1

Step
3
In the windows Xp first boot screen , pressing F8 then choose CD/DVD

Step

It will work for you automatically.
