Downloading Help..

Im not sure if this is in the right topic but here goes.
I have a Dell Studio laptop and I have mobile internet from 3 so I receive my internet through a dongle.
When ever I go to download a programme such as iTunes or Open Office it gets to a certain percentage then does not download any further.
Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I go about it ?

Dear Sarah,

This actually caused from the fact that the file is too large and the connection speed is very low.
