Hello,
my sound device disapared, would like to get help how to fix and get that back.
I have thinkpad IBM T42

Dear Teija,

If the sound device was there before, it might have been mistakenly deleted and one solution to get it back will be to carry out a system restore.

well I installed thiis MTS Wireless card and that corrupted my Sound device and USB drives on my comouter.
do u mean that i need to restore my entire laptop? and how to do that, since Im not able to store my files in extrernal hard drive, since my USB slots dosent work.
what to do?

Dear Sir,

Carrying out a restore to factory settings will in fact remove the drive that you have. You should actually carry out a system restore by getting to Start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools. From there select System Restore. You will have to set a restore point according to when the device was working properly.
