Audio output device still not working

Hello,
I did all the advice that was given above and installed the hardware for this. The speaker icon shows that there is sound, however when I go to play a video, still no sound. I am very frustrated. Any other options? Please help someone! THis is driving me nuts!

Dear Sir,

Please get to the Device Manager and see whether the sound driver is compatible and also if it doesn't need to be updated for it to function correctly.
