itunes vista dont have required software!Closed

Hello,  have the iphone 3 and everytime i download the lastest version of  itunes (itunes 9) its says cannot recognise this iphone you do not have the required software please uninstall itunes and downlad again. can you help me with this please

You own a genuine iphone or a copy version?please confirm,having a copy version will not be recognized by itunes whatever version is installed.

I have a genuine iPhone its my the phone that is causing the problem I think it's either vista or I have the went version of iTunes
