Windows Vista Not workingClosed

Question

Hello, 

My computer was worked for about 6 months with no problem.  we had a power surge and had to have a new wirless router installed by verizon fios.  Now my home pc does not work it is telling me that the comptuer does not have a wirless network adapter installed and configured.  Why did it work before?

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0

Please carry out a system restore to a date where it was working correctly and hence get the problem solved.
