Frozen cursor on Toshiba Sattelite laptop [Solved/Closed]

My cursor is frozen touchpad does not work connected external mouse through USB port and works fine. Any ideas?? Thanks

Try this 1

1) First make sure that touchpad is not disabled. Try the combination Fn+F9 to

enable it.

2) Turn OFF your laptop --> Unplug the power cord from the laptop --> Remove

the battery --> Press and hold the Power ON button for 50 secs --> Now insert

the battery --> Plug the power cord --> Turn ON your laptop.

i bought toshiba laptop just before 3 days its os is windows 8 but now the prob is its curser operated from touch pad is not working.also I installed windows cleaner, its showing more than 700 errors on scanning ok. please give me a solution.

Just press f5 mine did the same thing and I clicked f5 and it worked again

I did all except remove the battery. Turn off, unplug, hold ON key for 50 seconds, plug in and turn on. PERFECT!
