How to make an association with a program

Hello,
anybody please help i have the spyware kaspersky and it told me that there was a virus and to fix it soo i pressed to fix it and afterwards it rebooted and then when the computer turned on i couldnt open any programs thro shortcut it was saying there was no association to them. and also i cant even see my spyware that used to sit in the corner of my screen!!the main problems im having is that i can only open internet thro my favorite my music spotify through facebook.. but i cant get into my skype at allll!!! and i can only open word through an already existed file. HELP ME PLEASE WHAT DO I DO TO FIX IT??
