My computer icon is lost

Hello,

My computer icon is lost and i can not able read the CD ,i try to get it by right cliking on desktop and customizing desktop items ,but My computer icon is not acitive there,i can open it through windows key + e
from the keyboard,i need to solve the problem and get the icon for permenanet solution,so help me,10Qs.

What did you do to make your icons dissapear ?
Is it only your desktop icons ?
What is your operating system ?
