My laptop is connected to the Internet but my browsers dont work

My laptop is connected to the Internet but the browsers won't work unless I restart my computer. And even after restarting my computer my browsers only work for like 2-3 minutes. I have windows 8.1 and I mainly use chrome. This has been happening for like two weeks and I don't know what to do.

Using wifi ?

I suggest you test with a wired connection. It's possible you will need to buy a USB wifi adapter if you wifi hardware has failed.

I tried it with a wired connection and the browsers still only worked if I reset it and they only worked for 2-3 minutes

Do you have multiple Anti-Virus programs running at the same time?
