Can't access second drive.

Hello, When I install my second drive to my computer my computer primer drive will not boot up all the way, but the BIOS is showing the Western Caviar Green is install. I can't get my computer to boot up so I can access it to get my files off of it.

Can't access second drive.

Ok, so take the second drive back out....does it boot?

What type of drive, and how old is the PC? What OS?
