Why does my samsung tv flicker when energy saving mode is turned off?

Because the system has been told to use less power, so it refreshes at half the rate, therefore you eyes see flicker! Turn it OFF! Your eyes will thank you later on in life! If you can't afford the normal power bill, don't turn it on!

If this is some thing that is wrong, take it back to the store you bought it from! Better yet, go back and ask them what the issue is, as you are not satisfied and you need an explanation of what is the matter with your TV!

It is a TV. It may be working correctly. You have to either ask a salesman if it is broken or not. So, if you put it on HIgh, what happens? Does it flicker? Keep it on that setting!

When I put it on High,it flicker/blinks even more and faster

What kind of tv is this? Samsung what? Is it LED, Plasma, tube?

Does the one at the store flicker?

Do this....unplug the tv for a minute! Plug it back in , and when it powers up, it will ask if this is a display mode, or home! Select Display! It will be on the most bright most colorful setting! be prepared to buy another TV in a year in that mode!

Yes, it puts it into the mode that it was in at the store! But, it is going to wear out FASTER!

Do I rest it in setting? Because when I unplug the tv and plug it back in it turn on on the channel it was at before
