is there a way I can hook another PC to the one that got hit to transfer stuff that I want to keep are am I just out of luck? Thank yelsi_m

It's possible to remove the hard drive and mount it in a "USB external Hard drive enclosure". This will allow you to use the drive externally on a second computer.

That what I thought that there might be some thing that I could do this with but what do I need to bye? Thanks a bunch

assuming it's 2.5 inch SATA drive you want to by this from Amazon. Plus a set of very small screw drivers
