Microsoft Office Home and Student is a special version of Office for PC aimed primarily at an educational environment. It consists of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Microsoft Teams - everything that you will need for presentations and writing assignments. It is compatible with Windows 7 and the latest editions.
If you enter your School or University email address here you will be able to sign up to Microsoft 365 Education for free.
It’s main features include integration with the OneDrive service (similar to Google Drive), which allows you to store and share documents online so that other users can collaborate remotely.
It also offers the possibility of editing photos and graphics files from apps in the Windows suite. It even allows you to insert videos online, and play them without leaving the document. Finally, you can also share notebooks to improve the levels of interaction between members of a project.
