Valorant is the famous 5v5 tactical shooter from Riot Games. The game is available for free, so get ready to create your character, choose your weapons, and attack the opposing team.

Plot

Valorant takes place in a future version of our beloved planet Earth. An event referred to as First Light has led to a huge transformation in life, technology, and how society operates. Some inhabitants of the planet were given special abilities as a result of First Light. These people are called the Radiants. A group of Radiants then decided to create the Valorant Protocol. This team features a broad selection of agents with interesting backstories, varying from military to criminal.

Gameplay

• Gameplay and weapon choice: To begin with, choose a character or agent, taking into account that each one has specific skills. Then, go to the store and choose a weapon. At first, your options will be limited because you are low on funds, but as you earn coins, your credit will increase and so will the diversity of weaponry you can access, including rifles and heavy weapons. Try to diversify weapon choice as much as possible and remember that you can also invest in your character's skills.

• Agent classes: You can play one of the 4 agent classes among Controllers, Duelists, Initiators, and Sentinels. As each one has unique abilities, you will have a different role in your team. Duelists are offensive agents who shine in 1v1 fights and can break through the enemy's defense. Initiators are supportive players. Sentinels are defensive agents who can slow down, stall and stop enemy pushes. Controllers can block some areas of the map to make offensive or defensive moves.

• Attackers and defenders: Depending on whether your team is the attacker or the defender, you will have to either explode a bomb or prevent it from exploding. In both cases, you can achieve victory by killing the opposing team or part of it.

• Strategy: Remember that there are multiple strategies and ways to play, more aggressively and agile, or slow but safe. The most important thing is to keep good coordination with the other 4 players of your team... and not to die, because you will lose all the weapons you have previously earned.

  

Graphics and sound

Valorant boasts unique, cell-shaded graphics that make you feel like you are part of an interactive comic book. The cool thing about this game is that the graphics settings are fully customizable so that you can find for yourself a perfect balance between good looks and smooth performance. With regards to sound, Valorant relies on a 3D audio system which is pretty useful as it helps you to figure out where your enemies are coming from.

Valorant is an online tactical first-person shooter with several game modes, such as Unrated, Competitive, Spike Rush, Deathmatch, Escalation, and others.
