hey,
my desktop computer randomly shuts off when inactive,
but only when it is updating apps
when Im using the computer it never turns off, although it does sometimes crash during Youtube or mid game.
when i leave the PC on overnight to install updates on games it will not stay on for even an hour before it shuts itself off without warning and does not turn back on.
I have witnessed this happen once and it acts like the power cable from the back of the PC is getting removed, (the cable is sternly in the PC)
I have checked and fixed all power settings to avoid this.
although this also didnt help
It is called "Sleep". go into settings, select power setting, and look to see what happens if the PC sits idle (not being used, and app updates do not count, the mouse or keyboard must move)? Change the IDLE action to nothing, or turn on a screen saver.
