Hello,

I have downgrade from vista to xp sp2 , I have installed all driver, sound is also working but it is not detecting microphone voice, I have done hardware test, it says not able to hear any voice, i have check my mic it is working on another system, I have realtek high defination driver installed, pls help if someone had same issue. thanks

Hello you should install the driver for windows XP else you will face some problems with the sound device

I installed driver for xp everyhting is working except microphone , no voice detected thanks for reply

Hi Dev,

Could you find a solution to your mic problem, where mic wasn;t working with XP, while the sound driver was working fine.

I've got a Satellite A215.
Same position - installed XP, updated drivers, everything OK except microphone level which is very very low, almost inaudible.
