The computer works perfectly fine when i ran my other harddrive, but i put this one in and it ran, turned it off, then back on, and it freezes at the loading windows screen.

I ran a diagnostics test on my pc and it was good. I am thinking that windows is corrupt.
Any ideas?

Windows XP does not always work when you move hard drives from one computer to another. It should be possible to re-install XP on the problem computer. XP has a non-destructive "repair" option that should retain your files and programs.

Good Luck

I found the disc, put it in, ran the install, though a couple files could not install. It finished and now it says loading windows< then proceeds to reboot, with no options. What did i do wrong

then the only option is a full install that will wipe the hard disk.
