Compaq Presario CQ61 Can't boot to the desktop

This system belong to a friend of mine.. The system trip off while she was seeing movies with it. Since then it refuses to boot to the desktop...
I've tried all I could but to no avai, kindly help please...

When we press any option from the first picture, it takes us to the second picture attached and keeps restarting without passing the second picture

Hi

It looks very much like a hard disk failure a problem that only a qualified technician can attend to.
