My computer start and doesn't boot and restarts nonstop

I'm using Mecer 32bit core i5 4gb ram and 320 gb harddrive desktop and the problem is that I connected a malfunctioning USB cable for my phone and it then after a few days my computer powered up but could not boot and it restarts all the time so I power on and the orange light will be blinking fast than it normally does if I remove the harddrive it starts properly and it says select device to boot so my question is is it the harddrive really before I loose my money to buy a new one

Hello

No, it's not your hard drive, it's most likely your motherboard power supply.

Does that mean I have to change the power supply box only
